Fes staying in fes alone

Hi

I am staying in Tangier with friends but really want to visit Fes. Is it safe to travel alone as a woman and also could I do the trip in one day or would it be better to stay overnight.
Is it quicker to travel by car than train ?

It is safe. Feel free to call me, Jamal Morelli. I am an ex-pat living in Fes. I could introduce you to other women that you could travel with in Fes, and get the most out of your experience. Probably, the only reason I would say make sure to have some connection with someone in Fes is that peoples temperatures are hot about the Lebanon issue, so it's good to have someone watching out for you. Contact me through www.morellistudios.com - there are phone numbers, e-mails, etc.
And it is always faster to travel by car (unless it is plane), if your car is up to it!
Good luck! Jamal Morelli

Or - another sure bet - book yourself in to a respected hotel and then have a authorized guide navigate you through the medina!

Or even better still - talk those friends of yours into making the Fes trip.

Take care...
