I'd like some info on the walk down to Srbsko from Karlstejn castle - is the trail well marked, and is the hike easy, moderate or strenuous? What is its length? Thanks.

I have walked some of the tracks around Srbsko, to get to climbing areas. I haven't walked from Karlstejn, but I would say it is well marked or very obvious as it is also a popular cycling spot and you would be sharing the tracks with bikes. I'd imagine the track would largely hug the river..therefore relatively flat, unless you plan to go to the monastery. The walk to the castle is steep. Walking tracks in the Czech Rep. are well marked, with colours and/or signs.
