Hi
I'm planning a trip to Phu Quoc in september....is this wise as I know it's the rainy season.
Also, if I do go, Mango bay resort or tropicana?

I don't know Mango Bay...but stayed at Tropicana close to 2 years ago and really enjoyed it!

But, I'd take Jonny's advice over mine!

I visited in 2003 & stayed at the Tropicanna, I didn't mind it. I stayed there because it was close to the main town. I think Mango was a bit more isolated from memory. Where Tropicana is located has great beach - Long beach. There used to be a place on the beach that Icalled the shack, great prawns with the local fish sauce - yummy + hammocks just metres from the beach.

Mango Bay is a bit more laid back, it was initially built by mates of mine so they could have a place to chill when they got there. It is a bit isolated but you can get a good crowd there.
