Is it possible to survive on dollars/credit-card/reais on the argentinian side of the falls(including busride, Entrance-fee, food, tours) Or do we need to have pesos? I guess it is possible to change dollars to pesos in Foz do Iguacu(brazilian town..)?

They all are pretty much interchangable. I would recommend using the credit card when you can since you do tend to a get a better exchange rate. Some vendors will offer a discount for cash, not hotels or the park. Not certain whether the buses accept other currencies or not, but should be easy enough to hit an ATM and withdraw a bit of Argentine currency.
