Just here for a week or so but I'm thinking about coming back for longer. Are there any clubs or voluntary organisations that would be fun? Also, any idea where to start looking for Dutch classes? Cheers!

Welcome to the Netherlands! I don't know much about Brada, but it's big enough to have a "Volkshogeschool" or a similar cultural/educational centre that offers Dutch classes. Often enough these centres also host voluntary groups and a wide variety of classes/courses where you can meet people. Other than that it also depends on the type of voluntary work.
I also know there's a tourism school/academy in town, they may also offer summer break activities or courses.
Enjoy your stay,
P.

Breda has indeed a Volkshogeschool or Volksuniversiteit as it's called here, but strangely it does not offer a course Dutch for foreigners.

If you're looking for other activities please specify your interests and I'll start looking. I live in Tilburg, not far from Breda.

Try the following link..

http://www.hsbrabant.nl/international/studying/dutchcourses.html

I'm sure there is more but this is all i could find so fast.

For the rest, Breda is a very nice place to stay for a while and you'll enjoy yourself.

For clubs.. if you stay around till winter you mught want to consider joining one of the carnaval clubs and help build their wagon for carnaval 2004. It is very dutch (southern) and that way you'll be sure to have the best carnaval ever..
