I am traveling to New Zealand and will be in Wellington in late september. I also would like to travel to south island and have 5-6 days at most. Is it possible to find 5-6 day guided tours to South island from wellington. I will very greatful for the replies. Thank you.

Why not rent a car (in Picton) and drive for yourself a couple of days on the South Island ??
