| Kentucky | Renting a house boat. Posted: Sat August 19, 2006 06:10 PM UTC
Thinking about renting a house boat. Any Lake in Kentucky is fine. If you have rented one before, what kind of advise can you give me? Would you do it again? Was it like you thought it would be?
Any advise is welcome. Thanks, Glen |

I'm afraid I can't add much, but years ago I spent a weekend on a Lake Cumberland houseboat. It was a lot of fun, because one of my friend's friends had a speedboat so we could water ski. I remember the lake being big enough to have quiet spots as well. I also had friends at the time who lived near Dale Hollow Lake in TN (right on the KY border). It seemed to be more more "country" there. You can rent houseboats there as well.
