could anyone please tell me which of the two islands above is more worth spending 4 days and 3 nights?

Since i'm from HK i don't really have a clue how those islands look like, save that redang apperas in Summer more more tea the film, which is apparently very attractive.

But how about Tioman? As attractive or less? in terms of dining and diving.

Could anyone please help!

Hi, i'm from KL.. i've been to redang but not to tioman.. well my sis had been to both but she claimed that Redang is better... My distant cousin had been to both but couldn't decide which one is better.. both are equally good.. it depends really..

To me.. if i were you.. i would go to Redang cause.. it's more famous and it's really beautiful and relaxing.. i fell in love with the island at the moment i stepped on the white sand beach.. i've been to many beaches and islands and i still think Redang has everything for a tourist to REALLY relax.. cause it is quite a small place and there's no sellers on the beach who would keep bugging you to buy some thing from them.. no.. redang doesn't have sellers.. sand is white and fine.. sea water is clear crystal blue... people are friendly and helpful there..

not sure about dining.. but regarding diving, i think the corals are more beautiful than Koh Samui.. well i compare to there cause i haven't been to Tioman.. opps, sorry i went snorkeling not scuba diving anyway..

And if you go to Redang.. go search for the blue sand.. it's really unique and it's very near to Laguna Beach Resort..just 3mins walk.. there's more info in my Redang's tip..

Me too.i have been only to redamg and its lovely.I know how you feel.too many choices, don't know which to make.Just like me...i am going to hk and also don't know what is worth seeing in 4 days 3 nights..haha

definitely Redang!! better avoid tioman for now, i heard it's polluted and seen it too the last time I went many years ago. You can expect to see more underwater creatures in redang, don't miss the redang marine park with a giant garoupa, and a giant eel which is much taller than me!!
