| Whistler | Avoiding Kids Posted: Tue August 15, 2006 11:29 PM UTC
I am looking to do some snowboarding in Whistler this winter. However, I want to avoid having to deal with other people's kids. Can anyone recommend the best place to stay or best time to go to avoid crying kids and stressed out parents. Any tips would help. I really need child-free relaxation.

Avoid the first three weeks in March as this is spring break time. The provinces alternate their March break weeks , which helps ,but this is still a popular time for families. Try the last week in March or last week in January . Also avoid the USA Presidents Day Holiday Feb 22. Major crowds from the USA. Try to find a place in the Blackcomb Village area, maybe The Aspens or some of the places nearby.
