Unfortunately, yes. However, there are variable degrees of windy-ness there. It's so beautiful, however, you don't mind anyway :o)

I have been a dozen times and yes it's always windy - trapped between mountains and a large lake will do it - but it's worth it.......

But its usually a nice warm wind. When its +25, you want a breeze anyways!

I have experienced some calm days at Waterton, but they are few and far between.
Some days the wind is gale force, other days, it's just a light breeze. But as others have said, you'll love it there anyway.
