Hey guys.
I am writing to check if you can take some time out to provide me with information / instructions on the (fastest and/or cheapest) transportation alternatives (ex. train, bus, etc.) I can take for my transfer from Zurich airport to Hotel Meierhof (located in Fam. Elke und Roland Kindle, FL-9495 Triesen Liechtenstein). For your interest, I am scheduled to arrive in Zurich, Switzerland on August 31, 2006 to attend some business activities and I am set to stay at Meierhof hotel during these times. I will greatly appreciate any kind assistance you can extend to me as I prepare and plan for my first trip to Switzerland. Hear back from you soon and good day! Cheers, Louie |

I am actually a bit puzzled on the options available. Unfortunately, some of the sites which were referred in the prior threads are not in English. So I'd greatly appreciate anyone who'd be patient enough to provide me with clear cut instructions, say on the train stations and stops i need to take and note from Zurich, if im heading to Triesen, Liechtenstein.

The simplest route is by train from Zürich to Sargans, from where a Liechtenstein postbus provides a connection to Vaduz. The bus stops at Triesen en route. Total travelling time (Zürich to Triesen) is just over 90 minutes.

Any cost estimate for the travel, train + bus? I am trying to locate railmaps or train station guides over the net. Any suggestion where I can download them? Or will they be available at Zurich airport? One other concern, I have an ATM card (savings acct) with a VISA electron (cirrus logo showing) that acts as a debit card as well. Based from my travels in Singapore and Japan, I was able to withdraw money in local currency using my VISA Electron card. I was advised by my bank that as long as the Visa Electron logo shows up on the ATM, I can automatically withdraw money in local currency. I'm sort of doublechecking and I was wondering if you guys would have an idea if I can use my card to withdraw money from ATMs when I arrive in Zurich. Otherwise, I'm thinking of just keeping a few hundred dollars with me which I can exchange for Swiss francs when I get to Zurich airport. =D Thanks ahead. =)
