Have been looking into all your view on hotels with sea view. Are now looking at either Best Western, Holiday Inn or Shangri-la. Has anyone stayed at either of these - we must have guaranteed parking on site. Any nice eating places nearby these reasonably priced. Also want to visit Warner Brothers behind the scenes tour - anyone been - any tips or views? Look forward to hearing anything useful for our trip from England.

Unlike Universal that is more Theme Park than movie studio, Warner is a more personal tour. I beleive we had 10-12 on our particular tour. For most of the tour you are riding on Carts with a tour guide. We were able to ask the Guide questions at different points and also got out and walked around to different places. Cameras were allowed but in some areas they are restricted. The tour was about 2.5 hours long but was well worth it.
They are only open Monday-Friday so you might need to work around that, I beleive that they take reservations but we went early in the morning without them and got on a tour a couple of hours later.

As for the Hotels..Sorry really can't help with that one
