You have to go to the KTEL terminal of Thessaloniki. KTEL is the association of the long-distance buses. KTEL terminal is at the east entrance of the city, you can go there by bus 01, 08, 12, 31, 78, 80, 81, 82, 89A, 89B. Sorry, I do not remember the ticket price to Katerini, but it is very low. Travel time is less than 1 hour, you will arrive at the KTEL terminal of Katerini and then you have to catch another local bus to Paralia, it is about 6 or 8km.

The bus ticket to Katerini is around 5 euro one way, 50 min. travel, every half hour from 6- 22:00. In Katerini u ll have to walk 10 min. to the central square ("platia") and catch the bus to Paralia from there (or follow the Thessalonikis street until u reach the central cinema "Efkarpidis" hall- bus stop is outside). A taxi from Katerini bus station to Paralia (6 kms) is about 5 euro- depending on luggage and time.
