I just found out that there's no McDonald's or any int'l fast food chain in Palau. Is there any cheap restaurant/cafetaria/canteen/foodstall in Palau? How much is the average cost of budgeted meals?

Thats an old adage that realy works.I hav'nt been to Palau but over my years of traveling, and I've been places, especialy the years pre-Mcdo I can only say ; look were the locals go for lunch breaks from their work, not only will it be probably cheaper but also you'll discover new tastes ...Bon Appetit ;-)

Experience the local food, not the generic tasteless rubbish churned out by McDonalds! It helps to ask around and get some tips on where locals and expats eat. Ask your hotel reception, for example.
