Grand Targhee.
It will depend on the snowfall in Whistler for powder. It is not known for lots of light fluffy powder. If there is a great snowfall there will be a powder option

| Whistler | RE: powder lessons Posted: Thu August 10, 2006 03:42 AM UTC Forget powder at Whistler during Christmas..generally you have to be in the alpine and at that time of year the base is just big enough to barely cover sharp rocks that'll trash your boards........there is a new resort just outside of Golden B.C.......HOLY CRAP......you want to ski powdie...put your frickin snorkel on........or my old favourite Whitewater, Nelson...which also has a cool town and an old ski culture..and lots o powder.
