I will be in Ko Chang a the begining of january and i would like
to find a cheap and correct room at white sand (<1000 bath).
If you have a good remember...thank you for your information !

It's going to be very busy on Whitesands in early January and you'll be lucky to find any rooms by the beach avaiable. But the best places to look for rooms are near the first 7-eleven minimart there are a few cheaper places with rooms under 1000 baht on the inland side of the road. Only 30 seconds walk to the beach. By the beach, Bamboo & Apple Bungalows are probably your best bets - they have some fan rooms which will be under 1000 - but not really value for money. Otherwise go past the second 7-eleven and up the hill to the south of Whitesands, there are several small bungalow resorts by the roadside where you'll be able to find rooms in your budget. But it's a 10 minute walk down the road to get to the beach.
