very easy on local tram service or walk along the waterfront - its very close

hi
different possibilyties: 1. walk alon the lakeside (will take some time but is nice) 2. trolley bus wich runs from vevey to to villeneuve, many stops in montreux and a stop very near the castle, runs very frequently (www.vmcv.ch) 3. train from montreux to "veytaux-chillon" the train stop is just in front of the castle (www.rail.ch) 4. ship from montreux to chillon, very enjoyable. (www.cgn.ch) of course you can do a combination one way walk back by boat. have a good time! mabü

Chillon is Montreaux. Short nice walk along the lake. ?10 min.
