Hi, i would be in guilin between 26-29th August. I am wondering what are the things we can do at night (ie night spots? watching chinese opera? acrobats?) in guilin? Please advice, thanks!

most people talk about Guilin but usually they mean nearby Yangshuo (sp?) which is quite touristy but plenty of places to go out for a drink and other activities.

Its an hour cab ride to Yangshou right? is there anywhere nearer for some drinks, and music? with some crowd?
