| Vernazza | what about luggage and all those steps Posted: Sat August 5, 2006 07:15 PM UTC
Since so many hotels and rooms seem to have a hundred steps, which we won't want to climb even with only our "carry on" luggage, is it possible to economically check our luggage at the train station and just carry the overnight necessities up all those steps?
We're not elderly(54 and 64)but also not in our 20's--but don't want to limit our options. Travelling from Georgia USA |

It seems the only train stations with left luggage facilities in and near Cinque Terre are Monterosso (the northern most of the 5 towns) and La Spezia - not part of the Cinque Terre, but a large town just to the south. You can catch the local Cinque Terre train at La Spezia.
