RE: Public transport from Verona (Brescia) Airport to Peshchiera Posted: Sun August 6, 2006 12:28 AM UTC
Well, first, let's confirm which airport you are flying into: Verona (VRN) or Brescia (VBS), both of which are served, I think by Ryanair.
Next, look at http://www.cgabrescia.it/otherdestination.htm and go to the bottom. Apparently, there is a shuttle service from the Brescia airport to Peschiera del Garda (I hope this is the Peschiera that you want...there are several in Italy), but it's "on demand"...judging from the language, it is intended for Ryanair passengers...you might call or fax them to confirm this.
Of course, if this doesn't work out, you can always to take shuttle bus to either the Verona or Brescia train stations - trains to Peschiera del Garda take 15-30 minutes depending (see www.trenitalia.com).
Our VT friend Francesco who lives in Verona would answer this in a flash...except that I hear he's on summer vacation on Lake Garda right now anyway, so I'd thought I'd help out if I could... ;-)
