Hello,
we are going to Malaysia in a few weeks. First we are in Taman Negara for a few days before getting back on the train (jungle train) and going over to the east coast - to the perhentian islands. So, I know that there is no ATM on the islands. How can we make it? Do we have to bring all the cash to the islands for over than a week??? Is there any chance between Taman Negara and Perhentians to catch a ATM??? And how much do we need for one week? I hope itīs not dangerous with all the money in the pocket... any advice appreciated Thanks Andrea |

There is ATM machine at Jerantut, gateway town to Taman Negara. There is also ATM at Kuala Trangannu where you catch the ferry to PH. Food per day should be around RM20/day/pax. Accomodation?? Depend whether budget or luxury. Have a good trip

better you take direct transfer from Kuala tahan to Kuala Besut jetty by mini van.. so you can get boat on the same day..
for the ATM you can stop at bank ont Gua Musang, one the way to Kuala Besut by van. for the boat transfer and the accommodation you can pay by credit card at travel agency at Kuala Besut jetty (Anjung Holidays)
