| Malindi | Safaris from Malindi Posted: Fri August 4, 2006 03:39 AM UTC
Am travelling to Malindi, Mwembe Resort to be specific, in October with my wife and 2 teenager kids.
Want to do Safaris. Is Masai Mara must? Whcih other safaris (Tsavo, Amboseli ) & other attractions ( Nakuru, samburu ets) in Kenya are must dos? I have a total of 12 days in Kenya out of which 1 week booking is at Malindi. Is it wise to drive. Pl advise. |

Hi
if you only have 12 days, then it will be impossible to cover all the parks you stated considering that you have a one week booking in Malindi unless of course you want to spend the entire holiday days doing safari. There are several options. You could a 4 days safari first, starting with Tsavo East one night, Tsavo west one night and Amboseli one night from where you could drive to Nairobi spending one night then another 4 days safari the best being two nights in Masai mara and one night in Lake Nakuru driving back to Nairobi then flying to Malindi to unwind before going back home. hope you find the information helpful, let me know should you need further help. Cheers.
