You talking about San Francisco to Irvine (Orange County)? Probably 6-7 hours depending on when you leave SF and when you hit the LA area.

This brings up a good point, or at least I think so (that makes one). Many times I see names of places without states or country listed and it makes it hard to determine rather to post or not.

Sorry, if I butted in!

Take the Dallas North Tollway to George Bush Tollway head west. Trip in rush hour should take @45 min. You can then get off on I635, MacArthur or Hwy 183 depending on where in Irving you need to be. If you do not have tag than make sure you have change. There are probably about 4 major toll booths along the route that will be 75c. each.

Thank you so much for the information. I was thinking of taking SR121 as oppose to the Dalls North Tollway. The location I will be working at is right off of E. John Carpenter Frwy.

they will charge toll for 121 beginning sept1st. It bottle necks rounding the corner from Coppell to Grapevine. Either route will be fine - expect more traffic on 121. GB is much smoother ride.

Have you moved to this area recently or will you be here on business?
