I would do an intertnet search on "real estate" in Aswan, and see what it brings up. The longer you rent, the cheaper it should be.... make sure charges for gas/electric are included, otherwise they will check the meter and rip you off! Good luck! If you can speak Arabic, it will be better. I would pay 1 month down and 1 month rent, then pay monthly. Don't hand over all your money before you are in the property.
