I would like to drive from Sani Pass to Maseru (4x4)
What is the route? How accessible is it? |

quickest route is 'round the top' via Oxbow, Butha Buthe and Leribe - the road it tarred from Mokhotlong now. The more scenic gravel road route is to Thaba-Tseka, then either north to Katse (see the dam) then the tarred the road from Katse to Maseru - or go west from Thaba-Tseka straight through the middle of Lesotho to Maseru. This last route is the slowest. I'd go for the Thaba-Tseka-Katse route. Bring a GPS, the journey will take all day.
