| Ancona | Ancona to Rome Posted: Wed August 2, 2006 02:27 PM UTC
I am arriving by ferry from split & I’m looking at getting to Rome. I have looked at getting a train, but I have to wait 5 hours for the next train as I just miss one when I dock. Doesn’t anyone know how long a bus will take & what company to book with?
Thanks |

| Ancona | RE: Ancona to Rome Posted: Mon August 7, 2006 12:34 PM UTC Your best bet will probably be waiting 5 hours for the train. I think the bus from ancona to rome is once a day early in the morning- it is more expensive than the train and takes longer. Finding a bus schedule is practically impossible -- maybe your travel agent can help find something.

Are you sure you have to wait for so long?
Anyway, Kellytree is definitely right, the train is much more comfortable than the bus.
