Hi! I'm off to the Pyrenees in 4 weeks for 10 days. I'd like to concentrate on andorra for some hillwalking. There doesnt seem to be much info on the area, but i did manage to buy a map. Only problem is, the routes on the map don't differentiate between easy and difficult. I'll be going by myself, and dont want to accidentally end up on a scrambling route!
Any suggestions of routes would be much appreciated! I'll only have an hour or so in Andorra la vella, and i'll need to buy a small camping stove. Any suggestions of where i can do that? Lastly, I'm planning on staying in the mountain refuges. I realise that most are pretty basic. Do the ones that have wardens serve meals? This could be very helpful and reduce the weight i have to carry! Thanks for any help! :) |

For a list of refuges, try:
http://www.andorra.com/uk/activita/refugi.asp The links give a description of location, time and difficulty. Many of them are unmanned camps, but some are full service.
