What's the easiest, fastest and cheapest (if possible) way to go from Inverness to Edinburgh during September?

Citylink buses will probably be the cheapest way of travelling. Jouney time of 4h30m, here's the timetable;

If you are travelling from Mon-Thu then it'll cost as little as £4 each.

cheapest way is probably with Megabus ... best time to book is one month in advance when you can sometimes get a return for £5! www.megabus.com the journey only takes 3 1/2 hours with one stop at Perth, sit back and enjoy the scenery!
