I have a cousin who was living in Kariba (or at least in that vicinity), working as a nurse/matron of a medical facility. Have lost her address, and not been in touch with her for several years. Has anyone any suggestions of good search engines for Zimbabwe and/or South Africa? (she may have moved there to be with her brother) I appreciate all assistance.

If they are Canadian wouldn't they register at the Canadian Embassy?

No, she was actually born in the old Rhodesia, I believe, or South Africa. One of those more distant relatives - her mother and my grandfather were first cousins, so she may even be Scottish. I hate it that I've lost my address book. So very frustrating. Thanks for the idea. I have actually found the email address for the Zimbabwe Nurses Association, so have emailed them for some assistance.

The Salvation Army have very tracing services but I'm not sure under what conditions they operate. I do know, however, that they have a good presence in southern Africa as I used to be the secretary to the Chief Secretary (regional second in command) for southern Africa.
