Just wondering, is it possible to get a bus from Acapulco to Puerto Vallarta or Guadelajara? If so, approximately how long would this take?
Also, anywhere interesting you would suggest visiting for a mexico first timer? One more question, I will be travelling with a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese either, will this be a HUGE problem? thanks |

There's no one bus that makes the trip to Puerto Vallarta, you'll have to change two or three times along the way along coastal highway MX#200. I don't know exactly how long the trip is, but it's longer than one day travel. To get to Guadalajara, you'll likely have to go to Mexico City and connect to GDL from there - the trip will be about 16 hours or more when you consider travel and waiting/changing time.

It's possible to go directly to Guadalajara from Acapulco, via Colima. Take Estrella Blanca company at Central Ejido. It took 17,5 hours to get to Guadalajara.
