Playa del Carmen Travel Forum

Hello,

I´ve just booked 17 days Playa del Carmen in November in the hotel Riu Tequila.
This will be my first time in Mexico.
Also included is a short round trip for 4 days to Chichen Itza, Coba, Merida.
I will also make some day trips to Cozumel for example.
The rest of the time I will spend for diving in the sea and the cenotes.
Is it possible to go jogging in Playa or to go in and around Playa by bicycle.
Were can I found more information in the internet about Playa del Carmen ?
Which are the best websites ?

Playa is a great town, much smaller and less touristy than Cancun. If you're looking for a place to get away and relax, this is it. For jogging, you can do so on the beach or possibly find a quite neighborhood away from the beach where the traffic would not be so bad. I'm sure they have bicycle rentals there but you can pretty much walk everywhere. To find information on the web go to msn.com or google.com and do a search, you will mostly find hotel information but there are one or two with visitor info and map to show you the town. It would be nice to spend a day on Cozumel, they have a nice nat'l park there and you can rent a jeep or scooter and go all the way around the island. Lots of dive shops there too as well as Playa.
