I will be visiting the Sembawang area at the end of August. I was wondering if there are hotel/motels in the area. Area can include Woodlands, Yishun, need to be near the Wharves. any info would be great!!

Hi,
I am afraid. There are no proper hotels in sembawang at all. This is the closest backpacker hostel in the sembawang area. Check out the weblink below. http://web.singnet.com.sg/~one66/index.html In my opinion... this is the best choice unless you are looking for some luxury. You can write to the hostel and I am sure they will be happy to provide all the local info you need about sembawang and woodlands area. You will get to experience living like a local if you decide on this hostel. have fun!
