None whatsoever, you would have to change e.g. in London, Amsterdam or Paris: http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/vg/tair.html

Hi Joy!This is a late reply;) I don't think there's a direct flight from any asian countries to newcastle.My in laws live there and I visit them thrice a year.U can fly fly KLM via Amsterdam,British Airways via London, SN Brussels via Brussel.

Hi Joy l live in Newcastle. We used BA last year from Newcastle - Heathrow and then to Mumbia. We have another airport 20 miles away called Durham Internation there are again no direct flights to the far east but you could look at the other alternatives via amsterdam, some of the other airlines from there are less expensive that BA. our flight cost £550 l know it is more expensive flying from the UK Try British Midland
