Heading to Nassau in about 2.5 weeks for my fiancee's sister's wedding. Going to be there for 8 days, staying locally (no hotel) and was wondering about drinking on the island. Is it possible to just get a bottle of rum and sit on a beach and drink it? Or is this a bad idea? Where would we even get the rum, in any case, meaning what kind of store? Absolute Beginners here, thanks for the help.

LOL! Its fine....You can sit on the Beach and drink your rum...There are bars...you can go to Liquor Stores (Burns House, Bristol Wines and Cellars...) Trust me...it should be the least of your worrys.
