My husband recently made reservations at this hotel. I have no idea where it is or anything about the place. Can someone give me some information? How far is it from San Jose and is it anywhere near a beach?

The only Savegre Hotel I know is about a 2 1/2-3 hr drive from San Jose. It is in San Gerardo de Dota which is a tiny valley area in the mountains. A beautiful place but quite cool and certainly not near the ocean. Most people go there to look at birds. The Quetzal is found there more than any other place in CR.
