I've seen several references to watching the salmon jumping during "spawning season" but I haven't been able to figure out exactly when that is. Anybody know the range? Thanks in advance!

The salmon generally are at the full peak of spawning in August in Skagway. This is what I was told by several locals two months ago when I was there.

The salmon are starting to spawn now. We've seen a few salmon out in the creeks and rivers and should be in full force in just a week or two.
