Hello. I need to get to the Katowice airport next Saturday and I would like to know the best way.
Would be good to go by train to Katowice and then to take a bus?
What is the main railway station in Katowice? There are many stations as I see in http://rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en?
How much would cost a taxi from the airport to the train station??

I was thinking in taking that bus to go out from the airport because I´m going there for a friend. But to get there I need a cheaper way. How can I find the buses that goes to the airport (the cheapest ones)? Is better to get to Katowice by bus or by train?

return: 28 PLN

The MATUSZEK bus costs 44 ZL one way and 75 return. The site I gave gives the location of the departure point in Krakow. It goes direct to the Airport, taking 2 hr.
The train: Krakow Glowny- Katowice Glowny costs 12 ZL one way (there may be a reduced rate) and takes 1:30 hr. Then the MPL bus from the Katowice train station to the airport costs 20 ZL, one way, and 28 ZL, one day ticket. It takes 40 min; thus depending on the connection time, this combination is cheaper but takes about one half hour longer.
I don't know the price or travel times of the buses Krakow-Katowice, but here are the timetables:

Probably these buses are a bit cheaper, but take longer than the train. The Katowice PKS bus station is 500m north of the train station.
