Maybe the usual answers:
1. Turn off pop-up blockers
2. Clear cache
3. Restrictive ISP?

I think he was highlighting the lost Venezuelan, not the email/forum problem.
imranthetrekker seems to be on the job though :-) HOpefully it is a good ending.
