Hi. I'm after some info on Malaysian east coast buses please.
I'm flying in to Tioman on Aug 10th for a two week holiday. I'm wondering if it's possible to get the boat to Mersing and travel up to Kota Bharu/Kuala Besut to get the ferry to Perhentians. The thing is, as time is short I don't really want to spend more than 1 day + night travelling from a to b. Does anyone know if this is possible with all the coach/bus timings?! From Mersing it is possible to get a bus to Kota Bharu. Normally night bus. You will reach Kota Bharu about 8am - 9am. Then a taxi to Besut would set you off to Perhentians.
