I want to travel from the Split Airport to Sukosan (near Zadar) by taxi. Does anybody know how much that will cost me?

take the bus to Zadar and a taxi from there, as I imagine a taxi from Split to anywhere near Zadar would be quite expensive.

Taking a regular taxi, if they charge you a regular price for this more than 100 km trip you will end up paying more than 100 Eur.
Try contacting some of the taxi / transport companies in advance and ask them for the price and a possible discount. You will find a list of such companies here: http://www.hr/wwwhr/tour/travel/auto/taxi/index.en.html If the price suits you - OK; if not - use buses. Just try to avoid negative surprises.
