Hi, I am traveling to Odessa early September. I am looking on the best/cheapest way to get from Odessa To Budapest - i.e - train, air, water ways. If you recommend a train, please let me know if it is safe. Also, is it better to purchase tickets from US or directly in Odessa.
If someone can recommend a good hotel or apartment rental in Odessa, that would be great. What are the best recommended clubs, restaurants, shopping areas? When does the Arkadia close? Thank you in advance. |

By train - #108 leaves Odesa at 17.01, arrives in Chop at 11.27 the next day. #623 leaves Chop at 13.35, arrives in Budapest at 17.17.
The train is safe. You can't purchase the tickets being outside Ukraine. Don't worry, tickets should be available that time of the year, especially a few days in advance. Accomodations - lot's of info on these pages. Arkadia will be open through Sept. 10-15.
