Kassandra is the 1st "leg" of Chalkidiki and Sithonia is the second "leg". Kassandra is more cosmopolitan, more crowded and more expensive and has more night-life. Sithonia has no big hotels (the only exeption is Neos Marmaras and Porto Carras area) but has many campings and rooms to let. In July and up to August 20 you will have difficulty to find an accommodation - unless you try at the big campings of Armenistis or of Platanitsi. If you stay in Platanitsi camping, Sarti village is not very far and has to offer some night-life.
After August 15-20 it will be easier to find accommodation anywhere.
