hi
i will be traveling to antigua for a one day cricket matchwe will b estaying there for approx 3 days and plan on flying on to grenada, does anyone know of any guest houses/ hote;s that are near the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, and also how far is the airport from the stadium. thanks for your help nytravdoc |

Hi,
The airport is about 15 minutes from the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. I’m not sure about what guesthouses are available, but there is a place called Island Villas in Upper Gambles (about 10-15 minutes from the stadium), where you can rent a room. There is also Amaryllis Hotel and Airport Hotel that are not too far from the airport and stadium. You can find guest houses and other accommodation at the following websites http://www.antigua-caribbean.com, http://www.classified-ads-antigua.com and you can fin a list of hotels at http://www.caribbeanonlinetelephone.com check the Antigua Yellow Pages section. For rent a car http://www.atscarentals.com
The stadium is just about 20 minutes from the airport. At the moment there is no guest houses near to the stadium but soon there will be.
