You have helped me before and here I am again!Myself & four adult family members are visting Charleston the middle of September for probably 5 nights. Ideally, we would like to spend time at the Beach and also do alot of tourist things downtown.We are flying in and wondered if we stayed at one of the beaches if any of the hotels offer free shuttle to downtown? We would prefer at least a 3 star(preferably, 4 star, depending on expense)into downtown as we would frequent there. We are close to retirement age, but still "young"(LOL).Which beach do you recommend for our age group? We are sticklers for "cleaniness" in our hotel. Any ideas on where to stay ?And we would like the beach area to offer possibly some restaurants, shopping etc. Am I dreaming?? is this doable??? Thanks so much for any ideas!!
