| Hangzhou | Studying Mandarin in Hangzhou Posted: Tue July 18, 2006 11:24 AM UTC
Hi,
I'm planning to study Mandarin in Hangzhou for 8 weeks in December. Can anyone recommend a good language school to study at? I'm considering studying at a school called MANDA School of Chinese but can't seem to find much feedback from other foreigners. If you have any info or feedback on this school that would be great! Thanks, Serena |

Hi Serena,
don't know that school, but then again, I don't know many schools around here. Try www.hangzhouexpat.com for feedback if you don't get what you need here. Hangzhou is a great place, just bring warm clothes as it can be chilly in December.

I am doing a Mandarin course at the moment. I too looked at Manda but throught they were much too expensive. I am enrolled with a TEFL school now and did actually pay the same amount as Manda was asking. Since enrolling I have found out there are several over schools that offer courses. Nova has a good rep but am not sure when their next course is.
Take care
