Hi all!
We are traveling to St. John, USVI this fall. At this point we're planning to camp the first couple of nights at either Maho or Cinnamon Bay. Then we want to stay the last couple of nights somewhere closer to or in Cruz Bay. Anyone have any suggestions? We're trying not to break the bank, but it's hard to find a happy medium. Also, any thoughts about Maho v. Cinnamon? Thanks! Norah and Jeff |

I visited Cinnamon Bay. It seemed to be a great place to camp. Make sure you donkey-proof your campsite. I did not visit Maho. You can find plenty of condo's for rent in and around Cruz Bay. A google search for "St. John USVI" will turn up plenty. I have used
http://vivacations.com/ and really liked their service. I see though that they have dropped some of the lower priced locations. Also try Lavender Hill Condo's. They are right in Cruz Bay and have many units for rent.

For lower priced, but surpisingly nice, try: samuel cottages. Check the reviews here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g147409-d1
St John is awesome and you will have a great time.
