| El Salvador | Salvadoran Bus System Posted: Sun July 16, 2006 12:25 AM UTC
I'm trying to visit my friend who is currently volunteering in the Peace Corp and is stationed in San Vicente, El Salvador. I am struggling to figure out how the Salvadoran bus system works or if they even have a centrally organized operation. I speak some spanish, but I am by no means fluent and I have absolutely no chance of blending in as a local (6'3", extra white, no hair)
How much should I expect to pay? Can I arrange a reservation online or do I just get off the plane and go find a bus? What are the chances of me getting ripped off, harrassed, etc.? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help! |
