Questions about travel in Haikou

Dear Haikou VT,

Is Shenzhen Airlines' office in Haikou near Hainan Airlines' office on Hai Xiu Road ? I am redeeming a one-way ticket to Shenzhen on August 5. Also, does anyone know the office addresses of Lucky Air, Okay Airways and Eastern Star Airlines in Haikou ?

What are the transportation costs in Haikou per day ? How much does a simple lunch and dinner cost in Haikou ?

Hi,

Is there Airport Bus from Meilan Airport to Xisha Road or Haixiu Road ? Where does the Airport Bus stop ? I called Meilan Airport. I am puzzled why the airport receptionist replied there is no Airport Bus service in Meilan Airport to Haikou city.

The first floor. In fact, when you get out of the exit, you will see the public bus. RMB25/person. Terminal is Hainan Civil Aviation Hotel, which is located in Haixiu Road.

Thanks Belleli for the direction. How long is the journey from Meilan Airport to Haixiu Road ? I want to go to Hainan Airlines, followed by Shenzhen Airlines in Xisha Road. Do you know where are the offices of Okay Airways and Eastern Star Air ? Are they nearby ?

How long? I think it takes about 30minuts.

Yes, I know Shenzhen Airlines is located in Xisha Road, but it seems it hasn't open. Okay Airlines and Eastern Star Airlines? I'm sorry I can't understand what Okay Airlines and Eastern Star Airlines are. I just know there is a China Eastern Airlines, not Eastern Star. Eastern Airlines is also located in Xisha Road.

Bty, for the airport shuttle bus, maybe you need to wait for some time. Because it leaves every hour or when it's full up.

Hi, Shenzhen Airlines' new office is in Xisha Road, Haikou. I reserve a ticket with the Haikou office of Shenzhen Airlines. The lady Ms Xiao told me the new office is opened. Saturday working hours in the afternoon: Until 5.30 pm from 2 pm. Is it still correct ?

I called Haikou tourism helpline. The lady told me that the bus services provided by China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines cost RMB25 per person. Is that correct ? Do these buses accept passengers from other airlines ? Tiger Airways is the only Singaporean airline to fly to Haikou.

Sorry, just know there is a office of Shenzhen Airlines located in Xisha Road, but haven't been there, so don't know their working time.

AND also haven't heard of Eastern Star Airlines. Sorry!

For airport buses, yes, it's RMB25/person. In my opinion, I think airport buses should be provided by airport, not airliines. No matter you from which city, which plane, you could take the bus. AND even you are not a passenger, you just come to the airport to send sb off, then go back, you also could take the bus. Just pay RMB25, then you could take that bus.

i feel that the Meilan airport hotline operators are very tired, from the way they reply to someone who has never been to Haikou. They lack the energy that Shenzhen airport staff have. The airport probably has no tourist info hotline. ABove all they sound like Malaysian Chinese.
