My girlfriend and I are going to Maine from Michigan in August. We want to go clamming. Anyone no of a good place. Some where Bar Harbor or south. Around Pemaquid you can buy a day permit for $10 a person but it takes the fun away when I know it’s cheaper to go in town and buy them from the store then to dig them yourself. do you need a permit everywhere...?
