I am arriving to Catania airport late (9:30 p.m.) on Sunday night. I want to go to the train station in Catania to catch the train to Taormina. Does anybody know how much it will cost to take a taxi from the airport to the train station in Catania? Is it easy to find a taxi at 9:30 p.m. on a Sunday night at the airport? Grazie!

Thank you. I heard of the bus option to Taormina. But I also heard that it takes 1.5 - 2 hrs. That's why I prefer the train but not sure how to get to the train staion at that time from the airport quickly before I miss the last train. I know there is also a bus departing every 20 min from Catania airport to the train station but I don't want to risk missing the train.A ny idea about the taxis from the airport to the train station?

must be taxi at airport. I do not know how many.. How many flights just before yours? Will be your flight on time? don't mind to sleep in Catania that night and go early to Taormina the following morning.
If you had the ticket, you could sleep at station but I wouldn't do it if I were you.
